Dissolve MAGGI Coconut Milk powder in 2 cups of water. Grind together whole red chilies, turmeric powder, garlic, cumin seeds and coriander leaves to a smooth paste (add little water in case required)
Heat oil & add mustard seeds, when they splutter add onions, ginger, green chillies & curry leaves. Sauté till onions are transparent.
Add the ground masala and salt, fry for 3-4 minutes. Add coconut milk.
Add fish pieces and simmer till fish is cooked.
Add tamarind pulp, mix well and remove from fire.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
